Never underestimate a kid these days. I have a nephew that at that age was doing similar things; like climbing up the cubby holes in the nursery. Before he was 3 he was climbing onto the kitchen counters and rearranging the dishes in the cupboards. Boredom isn't just the teenagers thing these days.
